Use one submission per property and tax year unless your letter says otherwise. You may complete the form directly or upload standard accountant, property management, rent roll, profit and loss, or supporting reports.
Affordable Rental Housing / LIHTC
The Virginia Department of Taxation has created a separate form for Affordable Rental Housing and LIHTC properties. Use this form and email or mail it to us at the return address on the letter you received.

Before submitting
You do not have to use the online form if your accountant or property management reports show sufficient detail to understand the property's ability to generate income and typical expense items. Reports may be uploaded through the form or emailed to Cowan Services.
